ASHBY BOAT COMPANY ELECTRIC PUMP-OUT VEHICLE

In response to the popularity this little vehicle seems to have amongst the boating fraternity, with it appearing on a number of internet canal blogs and forums,  I thought I would let you know that the pump out vehicle has been repainted, as it was getting a little dowdy.

So you should now be able to spot it far more easily in its new paintwork.

Steve carried out the work, but looking at the pictures we are thinking of getting him a "make-over" next, but it was one of those rather warm days that we have had recently.

For those of you who require the services of this little machine while you are on the Ashby Canal we would like to point out that it would greatly assist us, in helping you, if you could arrange to visit the boatyard on days other than the "turn around" days of Friday, Saturday and Monday during the Summer season.
Or, telephone the boatyard to arrange a time early or late in the day when we are not so busy.
The boatyard is open from 9:00am. to 1:00pm. on Sunday mornings from Easter until the end of October.
The cost of a "pump out" is £15:00 including the cost of the "blue".
