2010 CANAL HOLIDAY PRICING INFORMATION

Here you are easily able to calculate the hire cost of  your canal holiday narrowboat.
As you will see each narrowboat is named, you simply check your holiday dates, from the top of the chart below. 
Your price is where it corresponds to the name indicated for the boat you've selected, and apply appropriate discount if it is an extended hire period.
Please be aware that the cost of diesel (fuel) used whilst on your holiday is an additional charge to the cost of boat hire.
 

Weekly canal boat holidays start 2:30pm Saturday and return by 9:0am the following Saturday, with vacation of the boat completed by 9:30

Short break canal holidays start 2:30pm Monday or Friday and return by 9:00am Monday or Friday, with vacation of the boat completed by 9:30.

(Prices are £ sterling for boat hire.)

For 10/11 day narrowboat holidays available on Badger, Ashby, Golding, Ambion, Willoughby and Bosworth add 50% of the following weeks charge.

SAVINGS ON EXTENDED HOLIDAYS
* If you take an extended holiday of 10/11 nights, combining a week with a short break (charged at the cost of the first week plus half the weekly rate for the second week) you can deduct £50:00 from the total price.
* If you take a holiday of two consecutive weeks, or more, you can deduct £100:00 off the second and subsequent weeks, this applies to Monday, Friday and Saturday starts.

EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT ON ONE WEEK HIRE PERIODS
Customers who book, confirmed with the 25% deposit by the end of November 2009, will receive a £50:00 discount on a single weeks hire price shown below. Discounts have already been applied to short break hire and longer hire periods.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT DESCRIPTIONS EXPLAINED
The first number of the "Sleeps" description represents the number the boat will sleep using only the fixed beds,
this meaning that no fixed double bed space is converted to increased fixed bunk accommodation, or additional nightly sleeping accommodation that is able to be created in the saloon area.
The second number represents the additional sleeping accommodation that is available using either bunks or a make up bed in the saloon, or both.
Add the two figures together for total possible sleeping accommodation.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Please be aware that the cost of hire is exclusive of the cost of diesel (fuel),  this will be charged for in addition to the hire charge, typically £60:00 per week, which will provide approximately 7 hours cruising per day.

Hawkesbury is the new boat that will be introduced into the fleet in 2010, it will be a sister to Oakthorpe and Bosworth, you will be able to follow the fitting out of Hawkesbury as it occurs, in the mean time you are being shown Bosworth to show the layout and facilities that you will find on Hawkesbury.

All prices include VAT, gas, car parking, televisions, bed linen, buoyancy aids, welcome pack, boat licence, 
and the damage waiver.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
* Note - From 1st. January 2009 fuel (diesel) will not be included in the price except for those customers who booked before the end of October 2008, at 2008 prices, for the 2009 season.
 * Cancellation Protection Plan, which is 4% of the hire charge, this plan  is  recommended.
 * Pet Charge of £15:00 per pet, per week.

DEPOSIT
Initial Payment/Deposit Required at the Time of Booking is :-
25% of the cost of the hire fee to the nearest pound.

Payment in full is required if you are booking within 56 days of the start of your holiday.
